This morning we revealed the largest ever soda bread to the delight of crowds at St Stephens Green Dublin. The loaf was 2m wide, weighed approx 250 kg and used 110kg of buttermilk, 8kg of baking powder and over 122kg of flour.
It was baked for 3.5 hours and took eight men (and a forklift) to take it out of the oven.
